JOLT- Grade 8-10
JOLT MONTREAL
Grades 8-10
The JOLT program will engage participants in Jewish value-based programming and CYJ’s core values through sessions centered on CYJ’s pillar of Dugma Ishit. With an underlying focus on leadership, the program’s intention is to provide participants with meaningful educational opportunities centered on various social issues and which encourage active leadership outreach to various communities. Throughout the sessions, participants will be introduced to JOLT’s mission, the value of Dugma Ishit, will learn about pressing social issues in and beyond the Jewish community, and engage with organizations in their city through monthly outreaches, all while building their identities as leaders in the Jewish community. Participants will receive community service hours.
This program is sponsored by Canadian Hadassah-WIZO

Youth Council- grades 9-11
Grades 9-11
Youth Council is a council of the movement’s most dedicated participants. Campers who participate in Youth Council have the opportunity to plan and execute events that are meant to be fun, engaging and reminiscent of camp. They will strengthen their leadership skills by planning programs for their peers as well as younger campers to encourage everyone to come together with camp friends in different events throughout the year. The success of these events is truly attributed to the hard work of the Youth Council. Participants will receive community service hours.
NextGen- grades 6&7
The NextGen program is our social programming for campers in grades 6 and 7!
These years are busy, with Bnei Mitzvahs, extra curriculars, etc. We want to bring all our NextGen campers together for fun, memories, and Jewish connection. Campers come together in activities such as bowling, mini golf, skating and more to connect with their camp community throughout the year.
Junior Programs- grades 1-5
The Junior program is the entryway for our youngest members to engage with CYJ outside of camp. This program will introduce participants to Jewish value-based programming and CYJ’s core values through fun and social monthly activities (Pegishot) that relate to Jewish values and Jewish holidays. The program’s intention is to provide participants with meaningful educational opportunities to engage with Judaism and Israel. This is an opportunity for our youngest campers to meet and reconnect with their camp friends through holiday parties and other fun activities. By providing quality Jewish programming, we will succeed in our larger goal of educating young people and hopefully encourage future participation in the continuity of the movement.
